Udupi: Youth dies after falling into drain

Udupi: A young man was killed after a two-wheeler he was riding fell into a drain near Ambalpady on the NH66 service road on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Lenin Wilson (19), a student of a college in Manipal.

Lenin reportedly fell into the open drain after losing the balance of his motorbike when he was moving towards Kinnimulky on the service road on NH66.

Severely injured, Lenin was rushed to a hospital in Ambalpady and later referred to another hospital in Manipal, but could not be saved.

A case has been registered in this regard at the traffic police station.
