Ullal: Another accused arrested for murderous assault on fish merchant

Ullal: Another accused in connection with a case of attempted murder of a fish merchant at KC Road Ajjinadka relating to a fish trading deal, Ullal police said.

The arrested accused has been identified as Talat alias Talaat (35) of Faisal Nagar. Earlier Achi, Naufal, Ashfaq, Nisak, Rifat Ali, and Rahim were arrested.

With this, the number of arrests in the case has risen to 7.

A group had attacked the victim Arif, a resident of K C Road Ajjinadka, when he was on his way to work in the Bunder area. Arif was a rowdy sheeter and has about 11 cases pending against him at Kankanady and Bunder police stations, police said.

The attack was carried out due to a dispute over money related to the fish business, the police investigation found.
