Ullal police bust cattle trafficking nexus

Ullal: In a lightning fast operation conducted by the Ullal police under the leadership of police officer Gopalakrishna, an illegal cattle trafficking network near Talapady has been busted by the police. Three accused were also nabbed.

The cattle were being transported from North Karnataka to Kerala in a lorry. The said lorry was waylaid by the police at Talapady-Kerala border based on definite information and 22 buffaloes were rescued.

The rescued cattle has been handed over to bovine sanctuary in Phajeer. A case in this regard has been registered at Ullal police station.
