The incident took place near the canteen of the Court, at around 11:20 hrs, when the undertrial Vinod alias Balle, resident of E-Block Mangolpuri, was being taken back to the prison, after being produced before Room no 73 of the court.
Vinod was immediately taken to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Khan is now under Police custody.
