Union Cabinet Reshuffle: 3 MPs from Karnataka Likely to be Inducted

New Delhi/Bengaluru: Expectations are moving high in Karnataka BJP circles as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very likely to induct three new faces into his council of ministers during his cabinet reshuffle scheduled for September 3.

BJP MPs from Karnataka including Udupi Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje, Dahrwad MP Pralhad Joshi and Suresh Angadi representing Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency are very likely to be inducted into Modi’s council of ministers, sources said.

Meanwhile, present Union Minister Sadananda Gowda who is also from Karnataka is expected to remain as Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation as state assembly elections in Karnataka scheduled early next year.  

It is gathered that, two to three MPs from Karnataka are very likely to get a berth in council of ministers as BJP national president and prime minister targeting the assembly elections in Karnataka.
