Veteran Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh passes away at 81

Thiruvananthapuram: Veteran Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh passed away on Thursday, December 19, at her residence in Ottapalam, Kerala. She was 81 and had been undergoing treatment for paralysis.

Born in 1942 in Palakkad, Meena began her career as a stage artist at 19 and acted in over 105 films and  she also appeared in several television serials, earning widespread recognition.

Meena is survived by her children, Sangeetha and Manoj Ganesh. Her funeral will be held at Shantitheeram on December 19 evening.
