Vijayapura: Man tries to sneak ganja to prisoner by concealing it in chicken leg piece, held

 

Vijaypura police have arrested a man for allegedly trying to sneak ganja to the prisoners inside the central prison of the district by concealing it inside a chicken dish.

The arrested is identified as Prajwal Laxman Mabarukhane.

The jail staff had pulled up Prajwal out of suspicion when he was taking food to a prison inmate. Upon checking he noticed that a thread was visible on the chicken leg piece. Further checking revealed that Prajwal had concealed the ganja packet, weighing 2 grams, inside the chicken leg piece and had sewn it from outside.

A total of 18 sachets of ganja have been confiscated.
