The examination was conducted at the First Grade College in Sindhanur, Raichur district. Candidates alleged that only 12 question papers were distributed in a classroom meant for 24 candidates. Adding to their frustration, the sealed question paper packets were reportedly opened beforehand, raising suspicions among the candidates.
Outraged by the mismanagement, candidates boycotted the examination and refused to write the test, even advising those who had received question papers to abstain from participating. The protest escalated as examinees staged a road blockade, disrupting traffic in the area.
