Vitla: 50-yo arrested for murderous assault on woman in public view

 

Bantwal: A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a case of the murderous assault on a woman at Pariyaltadka market area in Punacha village.

On Saturday, the arrested accused Shekhar Poojary attacked Lata, a resident of Natakallu Navagrama with a weapon in full public view here.

The woman, Lata was critically injured in the assault and has been admitted to a hospital

Shekhar was produced before a court after his arrest and has been remanded to judicial custody.
