Vittal: Depressed over illness, woman commits suicide

Vittal: A 39-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself as she was apparently depressed over her prolonged illness in Devinagar, Vittal.

The deceased has been identified as Shashikala Naik, a resident of Punacha, Devinagar.

It is said that the woman had been depressed for some time due to her illness.

A case has been registered.
