PM Modi embarked on his maiden roadshow in Mangaluru after offering floral tribute at Narayan Guru Circle. He is being accompanied by Chowta and Kota Srinivas Poojary as well as his  squad of Special Protection Group (SPG) commandos.

The campaign, ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, assumes significance as BJP would want to continue its dominance in Dakshina Kannada.

The road show culminated at Navbharat Circle. Thousands lined up the streets to have a glimpse of the Prime Minister.

For the unversed, Chowta served in the Indian Army for seven years, handling HR, security, operations, administration, and logistics. His tenure included service in the Infantry’s Gorkha Regiment with postings across the country.
