WhatsApp's latest Android beta version adds 'Vacation Mode'

WhatsApp’s ‘Vacation Mode’ has been added in the latest beta version for Android and is currently under development

According to WABetaInfo, The WhatsApp beta for Android 2.20.199.8 is re-adding a Vacation Mode after a gap of a year. During this time in development, it was also called ‘Ignore Archived Chats’ in som- e WhatsApp Beta versions earlier.

The mode allows users to not receive a notification when they receive new messages on the archived chats.  Archived chats will be moved to the top of users’ chats list once the feature is enabled

These are available to anyone who has signed up to test WhatsApp beta versions on either platform.
