Addressing the media on Thursday, he said, “If the Hindu community has to survive in the state, it’s necessary that the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Model comes into action. For this model implementation, already seers of 25 Mutts are ready to contest the upcoming 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections.”

Quoting the instances of alleged illegal cow slaughtering in Hagaribommanahalli town of Vijayanagara district, he said, “Lot of cases in relation to the illegal slaughterhouse like that of Hagaribommanahalli is observed throughout the state. Such crimes are repeated time and again.”

Lambasting at the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai-led state government, Muthalik said, “CM Bommai-led BJP government is taking the Hindu sentiments very lightly. There are around 3,000 illegal slaughterhouses in the state. The state government must bring down such places with bulldozers. If not, in the coming days, we’ll do it”.

Meanwhile, leaders of Sri Ram Sena were present.
