Youth poses as doctor at Deralakatte hospital

Mangaluru: In a rather unusual incident, a 28-year-old youth posed as a doctor and began examining patients at a private hospital in Deralakatte here on Monday, January 13.

The youth in question has been identified as Muhammed Habib Husain (28), a native of Shivamogga.

It is gathered that Husain gave a doctor’s name for reference and began examining the patients. When the hospital staff confronted him he fled the scene, leaving behind his car.

Ullal police arrived at the spot and seized his car. An inquiry is ongoing.
