A few weeks ago, Sunaina posted an intriguing picture on Instagram. The photo showed her holding hands with a man, along with a lock emoji. Many fans thought this meant she was announcing her engagement. On June 5, the post showed two hands holding each other, and Sunaina didn’t reveal who the mystery man was.

Meanwhile, Khalid Al Ameri, known for his engaging content on YouTube and Instagram, shared a similar post on June 26, showing a couple holding hands with a diamond ring on the woman’s finger. The caption read “Alhamdulillah,” sparking more engagement rumours.

Social media went wild with these hints. Fans eagerly tried to connect the dots. Sunaina confirmed her engagement on X (formerly Twitter). She wrote, “Hi, I’ve seen some articles going around regarding my last post and wanted to clarify that I am indeed happily engaged. Thank you for all the wonderful messages that are coming in, it means so much (sic).”

Khalid, a Stanford graduate, and Sunaina, a popular Tamil actress, have not officially confirmed the rumors. But their posts have left fans excited. Many in Dubai congratulated Khalid after his engagement post. Reports suggest they might get married this year.

Interestingly, Khalid’s former wife, Salama Mohamed, confirmed their separation. In an interview with YouTuber NourAldin AL Yousuf, she revealed they had divorced earlier this year. Salama said the divorce helped her become independent.
