Toilet pits are at least 8-9 feet deep. But in this model, only a 4 feet deep pit is enough. It is installed with rings, followed by gravel followed by the tiger worms. These worms belong to the earthworm family and survive on feces. They consume human or animal waste and convert it into manure. Thus they cause no harm to the environment.
