Excise department seize fish truck at Karwar

Karwar: Excise department seized 35 litres of spirit from a fish truck at Maajali from here.

The accused in this case have been identified as Jithin and Joshan and TM Aslam who escaped from the spot.

It has been reported that the vehicle which was plying from Goa to Kerala was seized.

The cans are said to be worth 7lakh.                                                                                                   

Excise officers Sanjay Nagekar, Kamalakar Pauvskar, Ganesh Naik were part of the operation.
