Fact Check: Is govt planning to deploy paramilitary forces at Singhu border against protesting farmers?

A video is going viral on social media which shows a person claiming that the Government will deploy Paramilitary Forces at Singhu Border to carry out a major operation and will impose curfew in Punjab and Haryana afterwards.

In the video, Gurcharan Singh Babbar, who claims to be the editor-in-chief of three newspapers, is seen claiming that the government is planning a big operation against them in the coming days.

He also claims that the information about a top-secret plan of the government that intends to end the farmers’ protest.

However, PIB has claimed that the video is fake and that Babbar’s statements have no credibility.
