Fog affects flight operations at KIA

Bengaluru: Fog continued to play spoilsport at the Kempegowda International Airport with 81 flight schedules being affected on Tuesday, January 22 as fog enveloped the airport. 

The visibility standby was declared at 2.51 AM which was withdrawn only at 10.35 PM as the result 81 flight schedules were affected on Tuesday.

All operations between 5.05 AM and 6.15 PM were suspended. The departure of 67 flights and the arrival of nine were delayed, informed airport officials.

One British Airways flight and two Indigo flights were diverted to Hyderabad, and two Blue Dart flights to diverted to Chennai.
