In a press meet on Monday Ambalapady Gopal Poojary alleged that Fernandes had not paid compensation of Rs 6.07 lakh that was due for over the 15 years that he worked for the MP. Poojary said he filled in as a superviser at Oscar’s workshop in Manipal.
“Later the workshop was moved to Oscar’s home. I worked there in Manipal workshop and his office for about 15 years from 1972 to 1987. I got just Rs 200 every month for three months. I didn’t receive anything consequently however I helped Oscar get election ticket. “I have kept in touch with Oscar Fernandes in regards to the pending salary 15 days prior. I have no other source of income and I require financial support,” he included.
