Four killed, two injured in an accident

Ballari: Four people of a family were killed on the spot, while two others sustained injuries on Friday morning after their car hit a bridge near Kurugodu in Ballari. 

The expired are Dr Santosh (36), Dr Archana (34), Lakshmi (6) and Siddaramappa (60), all residents of Chakalapur town in Bhalki taluk in Bidar. The injured are Leelavathi (55) and Tanush (3). 

They have been moved to Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences in Ballari. As indicated by the police, the mishap happened when they were going to Bengaluru from Chakalapur. 

The police have registered a case.
