Gangolli: Fishing boat capsizes; all 4 fishermen rescued

Kundapura: A fishing boat going out to the sea after the beginning of the fishing season capsized near Gongolli port in the taluk here on Sunday.

All four fishermen in the boat were rescued.

The boat was later tugged to the shore by two motorized boats.

Sadashiv Kharvi, president of the local fishermen co-operative society said that the sea area near the port has remained undredged for years causing problems to the movement of boats.
