Girl child crushed to death by an MUV at Katpady

Udupi: In a tragic accident, a girl child was crushed to death by a Tata Sumo MUV at Katpady On Saturday November 10^th. The deceased child has been identified as Afiya Banu (5).

Reportedly, the driver of the vehicle had parked the MUV at Sarkari Gudde in Katpady, however, the vehicle moved on its own and Afiya, who was playing nearby came under the wheels.

A case in this connection has been registered with the Kaup police.
