Governor Vajubhai Vala reallocates portfolio given Sriramulu

Bengaluru: State governor Vajubhai Vala on Tuesday, March 24 reallocated the portfolio given to state health Minister B Sriramulu.

While giving Sriramulu the additional portfolio of Backward Class Welfare Department the governor in a notification excluded him from Medical Education and all matters relating to COVID-19

Medical Education and all matters relating to COVID-19 from Health and family department have been entrusted to Dr Sudhakar.

The decision it is gathered was taken at the behest of chief minister as there was a lack of coordination between the two ministers with regard to control of the pandemic.
