Speaking at Shimoga, he said, “We do not know what agreement the BJP has with the JD(S). Money released during Siddaramaiah government and later during the coalition government too has been taken back.”
“Minister Eshwarappa withdrew the Rs 100 crore released for my constituency,” he alleged.
“The Central and State government have enacted anti-farmer laws. Congress had started the Green Revolution in the country along with enacting the Food Security Act. The new laws by the Central government are in opposition to our laws. The Congress party will stand with the farmers and join their struggle. A protest will be organised on January 20 and an appeal will be made to the governor,” he said.
