Govt to start residential schools for persons with disability: HDK

Bengaluru: The state government has planned to start residential schools for persons with disability from next year across Karnataka informed Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Monday, December 3.

Speaking on the occasion of the International Day for Persons with Disability, Kumaraswamy said that the government has planned to start residential school at every district of the state for persons with disability and the same will be announced in the state budget presented in March.

Speaking on the same occasion Minister for women and child Jayamala requested CM to give an additional monthly honorarium to the bedridden patients along with the monthly honorarium and to conduct a special survey for physically challenged so that various schemes offered by the government can be reached to the needy.
