The festivities were inaugurated by the chief overseas coordinator of Puthige matha, Shri Prasanna Acharya on Friday, the 29th during a Lamp lighting ceremony.
Enriched by dance and musical performances from several local and renowned artists, the Srinivasa Kalyana ceremony was conducted on the 30th March 2024 and was witnessed by hundreds of devotees from Atlanta and neighboring cities.
His Holiness Sri Puthige Swamiji addressed devotees via a video message.

The program was impeccably coordinated and executed under the leadership of Shri Jayaprasad Acharya, Chief priest at Atlanta Puthige Matha with able support from the local volunteers.
Shri Balakrishna presented the proposed temple blueprint and the construction plan updates to the gathering on behalf of the Matha and sought the support of all patrons in realizing the vision of Swamiji to build a unique Krishna Temple that will be based on India coastal and Malabar-based architecture.
Over a thousand devotees were treated to a Udupi-style prasadam comprising a wide assortment of sweets and savories especially prepared for the Shrinivasa Kalyana by Shri Harish Bhat and team.
The Atlanta temple will be the 6th Sri Krishna temple established by Sri Puthige Swamiji.
It can be recalled that the new proposed temple will be built in a 6 care land parcel bought with the support of the local Atlanta devotees for which the Bhoomi Pooja ceremony was performed by Poojya Swamiji before ascending the Paryaya Peetha.
