Gundlupete: Debt-ridden man commits suicide; reveals debt list via whatsapp status

Gundlupete: A 27-year-old debt-ridden man allegedly committed suicide in Kallukatte Kere, Shivapur on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Vijay. He allegedly killed himself by jumping into a nearby lake.

It is said that he uploaded a debt list on WhatsApp requesting his friends and family to sell his property to pay off debts.

A case has been registered.
