HDK blackmailing me over audiotape scandal: BSY

Bengaluru: “Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is blackmailing me over the audiotape scandal,” alleged BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa on Friday, April 5.

Yeddyurappa referring to the audiotape released by Kumaraswamy ahead of the budget session of the state government earlier this year said that instead of investigating the tapes, Kumaraswamy was blackmailing him.

“I have proof of Kumaraswamy blackmailing me over the audiotape scandal,” he added.

The audiotape was released just ahead of the budget session of the state government earlier this year, creating a stir and setting the opposition BJP on the backfoot.

Though the state had considered constituting a Special Investigation Team to probe the tapes, an order to that effect is yet awaited.
