Addressing presspersons here after attending the maiden state-level farmers advisory committee meeting, Kumaraswamy said that every month ministers of coalition government will visit one village in each district and interact with the farmers of that village. This will help the government know the problems farmers are facing and the government will try its best to tackle this problem.
This outreach will help in creating awareness and the government will also introduce farmers to new farming techniques. The officials appointed to help the farmers will also supply good quality seeds to the farmers, informed Kumaraswamy.
In the first meeting of the state-level farmers’ advisory committee, a 60-member delegation comprising two farmers from every district gave their suggestions with regard to this project, informed sources.
