On June 24, heavy rainfall is anticipated in Dharwad, Haveri, Chikkamagaluru, Davangere, Shivamogga, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysuru, and Shivamogga. A red alert has been issued for these areas. Additionally, a yellow alert has been announced for the northern regions, including Belagavi.
Red Alert for Coastal Districts
The Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rainfall across the state for the next three days. Coastal districts are expected to experience the most intense rainfall, continuing until June 25. An orange alert has been declared for the coastal areas on June 22, followed by a red alert on June 23 and 24.
