Heavy rains likely in K’taka’s coastal districts; Orange Alert declared till July 16

Bengaluru: The Met Department has announced that heavy rains are likely to hit the coast of the State on June 12.

The Department also announced Orange Alert in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada from 8:30 am on June 12 to 8:30 am on June 16.

Winds will be blowing at 30-40 kilometers per hour accompanied by rains with thunderstorms during these four days.
