The accused has been identified as Adinarayanappa, a resident of Chikkadasenahalli. He was married to Venkatalakshamma, aged 38. He suspected Venkatalakshamma had an affair and took her to a field and killed her there and burnt her body.
According to the police, before burning his wife’s body he cut off her ears and then surrendered to the rural police with his wife’s ears in hand.
Superintendent of Police Karthik Reddy and senior police officers visited the scene of the crime and found the body burnt to ashes. The police have registered a case.
