Idu: ANF search for naxals gains pace

Karkala: In the backdrop of naxalites visiting the Idu village of the taluk, the Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) conducted swift searches at various locations here on Sunday.

The search operation at Bare, Manjottu and Bollottu areas of Idu village lying along the lower parts of the Western Ghats has gathered pace.  

Locally, a news has spread that fully armed naxalites had visited these parts of the village on November 29^th.
