Inauguration of Kadaba and Moodabidri taluks postponed: DC

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has informed that the formal inauguration of Kadaba and Moodabidri taluks have been postponed on account of the death of actor-turned-politician Ambareesh.

Addressing media persons here Senthil said that all government programmes have been cancelled due to mourning.

Revenue Minister RV Deshpande was to officially inaugurate the two taluks today.

The state government has announced a three-day mourning following Ambareesh’s demise owing to a cardiac arrest on Saturday night.
