Inclement weather warning: Fishermen urged to return ashore

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory cautioning about the possibility of increased wind velocities in the Bay of Bengal from May 18, 2024, to May 22, 2024.

As a precautionary measure, fishermen are urged to avoid venturing into the sea during this period.

Furthermore, all fishing boats currently at sea are advised to return to shore without delay.
