IT raids DK Shivakumar aide's house, office

The Income Tax Department officials conducted raids at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s close aide VR Patil on Wednesday, February 6.

The team of officials carried out searches simultaneously, at the house and offices of VR Patil, the owner of Sharada International School in Koppal. Patil, reportedly known to be a close associate and friend of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, faced scrutiny as part of the ongoing investigation.

The authorities have not disclosed specific details regarding the reasons behind these raids.
