IT raids on several boat owners at Malpe

Malpe: Income Tax sleuths conducted raids on fishing boat owners here on Thursday and Friday.

The income tax department allegedly looked through houses and offices of various fishermen and boat owners.

Based on prior information, IT officers from Delhi led the raids.

It is learnt that I-T officials searched the premises of Anand Kunder, Hariyappa Kotian, Sadhu Salian and Anand Suvarna.

Further probe is on.
