HDK moved to high court after a special court rejected his bail petition submitted in connection with the mining scam on Tuesday. Subsequently, former Karnataka minister, BJP leader Janardhana Reddy handed over the documents and other proofs to SIT alleging HDK received Rs 150 crore as bribe from Janthakal Mining company to carry out illegal mining in Bellary.
