Addressing the media at the BJP’s Shivamogga office, Eshwarappa said that Kumaraswamy was backtracking from the promise to the farmers of completely waiving of the loan assured in the “bogus election manifesto” of the JDS.
Eswarappa requested Kumaraswamy to leave from the “absolutely opportunist government” in the event that he couldn’t satisfy his promises made to the farmers. He asserted that the Congress-JD(S) coalition can’t frame government as there were noticeable inward fractures and quarrel for the post of Deputy Chief Ministerial post. He predicted that the presidential government might off in Karnataka soon.
Further he promised, “I have been elected by a huge margin. I respect people’s mandate and will concentrate on developing Shivamogga into a model city.”
