Kannada Okkuta protests against Union Govt in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Kannada Okkuta leaders, workers led by its president Vatal Nagaraj protested against union governments  at Mysore Bank circle in the state capital on Monday. The protesters burnt  monster replica of the union government on the occasion.

The protesters urged to implement the projects Meke Datu, drinking water project for Kolar, Chikkaballapur immediately. Kannada Okkuta also urged the union government to raise the amount of drought relief fund released for drought hit karnataka. 

The protester also urged the state government to lift the cases registered against the farmers who have participated in the protests against Kalasa-Banduri, Mahadayi projects. Also, it asked the central and state governments to waive farmers loan immediately.
