Karkala: Congress holds massive ‘Parivarthana Rally’ to support Jayaprakash Hegde

A massive Vehicle Rally ‘Parivartana Jatha’ organised by the Congress Party – Karkala Assembly Constituency was launched at Pulkeri Bypass Circle on April 19 in preparation for the Lok Sabha Elections.

Former Minister Abhayachandra Jain flagged off the rally with a Congress flag.

Udupi-Chikmagalur Constituency Congress candidate K Jayaprakash Hegde, and Congress leader Udayakumar Shetty, among others, were present.

The rally, consisting of numerous vehicles including two-wheelers and 4-wheelers, traversed through the city’s main thoroughfare before heading to a Congress’ public meeting in Hebri.

The police enforced stringent security measures.
