Jyothi Poojary a Mumbai resident is basically from Kervashe in Karkala taluk in Udupi district. Her video of playing cricket in her courtyard was recorded by Ranjit Poojary and he uploaded the video to his Facebook account.
ESPNcricinfo noticed the post and has now shared in its official twitter account with the caption, “Stepping out to the leg side and smashing it through the covers. Now, where have we seen that before?”
Her batting style is now being compared to various cricketers and it is said that her favourite cricketer is M S Dhoni.
