Karkala: Man commits suicide by shooting himself

Karkala: A incident of suicide was reported from Chikkal Bettu near Hiragana in the taluk here on September 27.

Sunil, a hotel businessman from Pune, shot himself. It was reported that he had returned to the town during the COVID-19-induced lockdown.

The exact cause of Sunil’s suicide is unknown.
