Karnataka eases inter-State travel; no more 14-day quarantine after arrival

Bengaluru: The State government has issued a circular revising the guidelines related to inter-State travel effective from August 24.

The ciruclar states that the mandatory 14-day quarantine/isolation for arrivals has been discontinued along with medical checkups at check posts and receiving centres.

The circular also adds that people coming from outside the State need not register on the Seva Sindhu portal instead they must systematically self-monitor their health for a period of 14 days and check for symptoms of COVID-19. In case if any symptoms shows then they must seek medical help or contact Apthamitra helpline 14410.
