Karnataka government announces 10% increase in engineering and architecture course fees

Bengaluru: The Karnataka state government has decided to increase the fees for professional courses in engineering and architecture colleges by 10% for the academic year 2024-25.

The announcement was made by Higher Education Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar and Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil during a meeting with representatives from the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) and the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation (KPCF) at the Higher Education Council. The Department of Higher Education will soon release the revised fee structure.

Medical college fees: Decision pending

Regarding the fees for private medical colleges, no final decision has been made yet. Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil stated that the government will decide on this matter after conducting two more meetings with the management boards of private colleges.
