Karnataka plans to implement new education policy

Bengaluru: Karnataka is planning for new education policy in the state and a task force has been formed to facilitate the implementation of the policy.

Higher Education Minister C Ashwath Narayan informed about the new education policy after the meeting with the Chief of Huawei telecommunications Derek.

It is said that the demand for the Diploma course is low and its format will be transformed into a career-oriented course. In this regard, the deal has been signed with Nascam and Microsoft.

Huawei has agreed to conduct a certificate course for over 2000 students on advanced technology issues such as artificial intelligence.

In addition to this, the college education department is preparing to conduct an online admission process for the next academic year. Even though the admissions process began online in 2019-20 it was not fully implemented. The department has decided to make the admission process for the next academic year completely online.

A separate website for 430 government degree colleges, women’s colleges, and law colleges has been created for this purpose. Students can view the college website of their choice through the website of college education department.
