Karnataka PU repeaters to be passed as well?

Bengaluru: The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) is considering passing all second-year pre-university repeater students with grace marks.

Already regular second year PU students have been passed on the basis of their first year PU and SSLC scores.

However, the problem faced by DPUE for passing repeaters is that they have the marks of those who are appearing for the repeater exam second or third time but not of those appearing for the first time.

Therefore, they are planning to pass the repeaters with grace marks.

An official notification on this is likely to come out in a few days.
