Karnataka Raj Bhavan to be open for public viewing from Aug 17

Bengaluru: The gates of Karnataka Raj Bhavan will be open for public viewing from August 17 to 30. Entry timmings will be between 3.30 pm – 7.00 pm on these days.

Those wishing to visit Raj Bhavan will require to register their names online by giving submitting full particulars including their aadhar numbers, mobile numbers and e-mail addresses, besides, the day they wish to visit Raj Bhavan to get their slot confirmation online and entry passes at the Raj Bhavan counter on their day of the visit.

“The registered public are expected to be present at the specially erected counter 30 minutes before their allotted time slot to facilitate them to collect their entry passes” an official press release added.

“The pass-holders will be taken around the Raj Bhavan from the Glass House to the Banquet Hall by the Guides explaining the interesting features. Pleasing music will be another star attraction at the Glass House. They will be shown a short film depicting the glorious heritage of the Gubernatorial Office, the roles and responsibility of the Head of the State. Later, they are all provided with an opportunity to take their photographs in front of the heritage building” the press release further stated.

Special visitors to Raj Bhavan will be provided with tea and photographs clicked in front of the heritage building will be mailed to their e-mail address.
