Karnataka receives 4.25 lakh doses of Remdesivir from Centre

Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister and head of the COVID Task Force, Dr CN Ashwath Narayana has said that the shortage of Remdesivir injections has been mitigated as the State has received 4.25 lakh doses, enough for one week.

In a statement on Sunday, he said, “Remdesivir has been made available to the State by Centre and will be enough till May 23.”

“Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda has conveyed this to the State government. We are very grateful to the Central government for providing the State with the highest Remdesivir allocation,” the statement added.
